Local Staycation: White Salmon, Washington
Located in the Columbia River Gorge, with the Columbia River separating Washington and Oregon, White Salmon is a cute little town with so much to do nearby. You can go hiking with stunning views of the gorge and see Mt. Hood in the distance. Eat at Everybody’s Brewery, with awesome food and atmosphere. You can go across the bridge to Hood River Oregon with a downtown full of great shops and restaurants as well as award winning wineries.
Favorite Accessory: My Silver Crossbody Backpack for all the hiking and wandering around outdoors. It looks pretty great in the photos too!
San Diego is a great Summer getaway with so much to offer! I love the brunch cruise that takes you along the skyline of San Diego. Take a ferry to Coronado Island for a day of biking, pretty beaches, cute shops and great restaurants. There are many other beaches and districts that have something different to offer and explore.
Favorite Accessory: My Black Fanny Pack was with me the whole time as I was out exploring San Diego. It carried all that I needed and allowed me to be handsfree. Plus its stylish too!
Summer is the perfect time to visit northern St. Germain, Wisconsin! Find a cute little cabin with a lake view and enjoy a peaceful coffee or tea every morning. I suggest making a morning run for coffee and donuts at Jamie's Java! By 11am, you'll want to hit the water by boat or jet ski and enjoy the water and warmth all day long. If you want a little more adventure, you can find beautiful hiking trails - one of my favorites is Shannon Lake.
Boating by day, campfire by night - end the night with a bonfire and your favorite people surrounding you!

Other fun activities to do in this area: Rent kayaks, ride bicycles along the ocean, tour art galleries, Flagler Museum, weekend farmers markets, art walls for the photo friendly, shop and dine al fresco.
By Plane: Laguna Beach, California
Staycation or weekend away, Traverse is the perfect girls weekend getaway. With each season more beautiful than the next, you'll find great restaurants, wineries, boutiques, cherry shops, and hikes nearby. Plan on lunch at Poppycock's before heading up the Peninsula for winery and brewery tours and tastings. A few of my favorites: Peninsula Cellars (fun setting in an old schoolhouse), Mari Vineyard (the views from here are beautiful!), and Hop Lot (brewery with bonfires - a perfect place to end the evening).
PS: If you plan your drive just right, you'll pass through Sleeping Bear Dunes on the way in town for a short hike up the bluffs for unbeatable views of the lake.
Favorite Accessories: The Weekender Bag holds all I need for the few days away and my Crossbody Backpack stays on for the entire trip - from the hikes to the wineries (did you know the backpack can fit a bottle of wine?!).
By Plane: Booth Bay, Maine
Best experienced in the Summer or early fall, Maine holds a special place in my travel heart. As you drive up the coast I recommend you stop in Portland (an artsy, upcoming foodie city), at Portland Head Light (famous lighthouse worth a stop!), in Boothbay Harbor (quaint shopping town), and anywhere else that catches your eye. The East Coast, known for fresh lobster, has numerous places you can find but don't miss Red's Eats for an award winning Lobster Roll - just come prepared to wait in line! One of my favorite activities is packing a picnic or snacks in my Carryall Tote and finding a quiet spot on the coast to listen to the waves crash and watch the sailboats go by. Plan on a day or two in Acadia National Park for hikes, wildlife sightseeing, and bike trails (you can rent bikes in the nearby towns).
A day trip downtown to the bustling city is a great staycation option. I never get on the train without my Cool Gray Crossbody Backpack, Shimmer Black Puffer Tote, or Shimmer White Puffer Purse. The backpack allows me easy access to all my vital items when making my way around this exciting city. A visit to Michigan Avenue for some shopping and then off to the Millennium Park where they have so much to do. You can also find many cool wall murals all over the city for beautiful photo opportunities! The tote holds a change of clothes just in case the beachfront makes its way into our plans, and of course there is room for lunch and a water bottle too!
Nestled in the heart of the White River Forest and surrounded by the Peaks of the Elk Mountains, Aspen is a popular location for skiing, hiking, biking, white water rafting, and arts and music. Downtown is filled with great shopping and restaurants. Something to do for everybody, whether you have an adventurous soul or just want to fine dine and shop!
Maroon Bells is a must see with spectacular natural views (appointments must be made during height of season, but worth it)!
Hiking is for sure my favorite thing to do here. If you are adventurous and up for a challenge, there are some class 2 14ers just waiting to be climbed, such as Castle Peak, which still has snow in June! Other great hikes that are not as challenging, but still a challenge are American Lake and UTE Trail. The views are amazing all over Aspen. You cannot go wrong with any hike here!
And Aspen White Water Rafting is a must! Are you up for it?
Favorite Accessory: I always have my Crossbody Fanny Pack or Layflat Fanny Pack for all adventures. Great for the ease of keeping everything tucked away and attached to my body.
A resort town in the province of Canada, the peaks of Mt. Rundle and Mt. Cascade (part of the Rockies) dominate the skyline.
Banff Avenue is the main place to hang, with quaint boutiques and restaurants mixed with chateau style hotels. There is a lot of wildlife from elk to grizzly bears.
Lake Louise is one of the largest lakes with crystal blue waters, amazing to see!! Both Lake Louise and Johnston Canyon offer guided tours if that is your preference and provide the necessities needed for the trip. Finish off with some hot cocoa!!! You will need it! BRRRRR…(YES there is still snow in the mountains June!)
Favorite Accessory: Crossbody Backpack will sufice and carry everything you need - snacks, water bottles, hats, gloves, scarfs and more!
