About Courtney:
"I am married to a wonderful husband and we have a dog named Rio, who keeps us laughing everyday. Together, we live a very healthy and active lifestyle, keeping each other motivated to learn and grow within the health and wellness field."
What wellness does she incorporate into her daily life?
"Everyday includes all of the following: exercise & movement, meditation, hydrating with electrolytes (my favorite right now are LMNT), eating a healthy, well-balanced diet, and taking supportive supplements."
How does she stay healthy? What is her weekly routine?
"To stay healthy, I am very consistent with all the little things that help me feel my best. My weekly routine includes all of the above, as well as prioritizing good quality sleep and rest!"
What is her favorite way to stay active or incorporate movement?
"I have many favorites when it comes to staying active, depending on how I feel that day! Yoga is one of my absolute favorite ways to incorporate movement. I always walk away from a yoga session feeling better physically and mentally. Pickleball is a lot of fun, while also giving me a good workout. Walks are a staple - I love going on long walks with my husband and our dog. I also really enjoy indoor cycling and strength training sessions at our gym."
One piece of advice that she would love to share with others when it comes to health & wellness:
"Health and wellness is not one size fits all. It’s very important to find what works best for you and your body. Being healthy is also much more than exercise and diet. In health & wellness coaching, there is a tool called “The Wellness Wheel”, which is a visual guide to help individuals look at all aspects of their wellness. Common sections of this wheel include: Emotional, Physical, Spiritual, Social, Financial, and Environmental. The goal of this tool is to identify areas in your life where you can make small changes that will positively impact your overall health & wellness!"
