For the L'amour of Paris 💜
The charm and romance of this magical city of lights and love were "love at first sight" by Melissa (the founder) and her niece Jessica. Inspired by the sights, shopping, sumptuous cuisine, and history, our Paris Pack design came to life. We hope it will delight you. Follow the 💜 starting at left, then down, to the right, back up, and around again to explore and fall in love with a few of our favorite locations in Paris!
💜 Champs Elysees One of the main roads stemming from the busy Arc de Triomphe, you’ll find each side of this road decorated with cafes, storied brands, and quite possibly find yourself amongst any one of many festivals or the final stretch of the Tour de France. Vite Vite!
💜 L’Orangerie A Michelin star experience befitting a royal. The cuisine will surprise and delight in a luminous setting overlooking a conservatory. Treat yourself to this elegant Paradise! C’est Délicieux!
💜 The Eiffel Tower The magnitude of this historic tower is felt from the moment you fly into Charles de Gaulle Airport. A ride up to the top is worth the time - book ahead. The tower holds most of its charm at night as the lights sparkle every hour on the hour. Bisous!
💜 Rue du Cherche Midi Shop local designers (and more) in secrecy down this charming street. What you purchase on Cherche Midi…stays here too. C’est un Secret! Et…
💜 Boulangerie Poilane located on this same street is a stop not to miss. Grandmother's best baking comes to mind…buttery croissants, tasty cookies, and a warm cappuccino…we’ll take one of each to go s’il vous plait.
💜 Rue du Bac Destination Dessert! Patisseries and chocolate shops that sweet dreams fill. And, with Le Bon Marche for shopping just a hop skip away, we’ll take this street any day. Qui Qui
💜 Pont des Arts Bridge The lock bridge of love! This was a place for decades where visitors and locals alike would hook a padlock on the metal bridge with their name on it as a profession of love for someone. You can no longer do this however it is still one of the most recognized places in Paris to visit and why not profess your love today! Je t’aime
💜 Montmartre Some of the best views of the city! And if you can find a quiet spot outside at one of the café’s, enjoy the artistry being born by some of history’s most talented. Tres creatif!
Our hearts are always in the right place yet these two lovely spots below - lost their 💜 mark. :)
💜 Bar Hemingway Enjoy an elegant drink with a side of history. Tucked back into a quiet, history-filled hallway in the Ritz Carlton, Paris you will find “autograph” cocktails in what used to be one of Hemmingway’s favorite writing spots. “When I dream of the afterlife in heaven, the action always takes place in the Paris Ritz!” Ernest Hemingway
💜 St. Germain des Pres Located in the 6th arrondissement with the Seine bordering one side, this vibrant neighborhood in Paris was where the literary and artistic celebrities gathered in the 19th and 20th centuries. We love it for its quaint cafés, people watching and the magnificent Church of Saint-Germain des Pres, the oldest in the city. “There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved.” George Sand.
💜 Musee de l'Orangerie Not one of the most popular in Paris, yet to us, its home of eight large Water Lilies murals by Claude Monet was enough to make it a favorite. And, if time permits, a visit outside the city to Giverny, Monet’s Gardens is a must. Other works of art here are by Cezanne, Matisse, Renoir, and Modigliani, just to name a few. Les artistes!
Paris contains an endless list of excursions and lovely sights. Grab your Paris Pack and tag us on social @hilovetravel, we'd love to see where your travels take you!
And be sure to shop our European Adventures Collection to see our other packs inspired by European Travels!
Avec amour,
Melissa & Jessica 💜
